I received my education at Paul Mitchell The School San Diego and participated in a highly competitive program called “Phase Two” which is the highest level of education one could receive in cosmetology school. Similarly, in this program I participated in various competitions and fundraising events all over San Diego County to help build my portfolio as well as give back to the community I love and grew up in. By participating in these events, it propelled me to hone in on my creative abilities and what my focus would be moving forward as a stylist. Consequently, I found my specialty to be in blondes and as I continue to grow, I fall more and more in love with blonding, specifically balayage and highlights. There is so much contrast in positive and negative space, which gets my artistic eye excited! Growing up in a creative household with my mother being an interior designer, I found a love for fabrics and textiles. Ultimately this translated into hair as my new “fabric” that fed my creative background into something I am lucky to consider my passion. As a new stylist, my goals are to continue to perfect my craft, push my creative boundaries and build genuine relationships with my clients while providing excellent service and continuing to give back to the community.
