Sydney Wieland

At an early age, I found my passion for hair. I was the kid who went to all my moms hair appointments, fascinated, asking questions and wanting to learn more. Upon moving to Colorado, I was chosen for a program to enroll in cosmetology school while simultaneously attending high school and graduate with double diplomas. Fast forward through a move back to California, additional education in the industry, including the Napoleon Perdis makeup academy in LA, and my first salon job working for Ulta. I grew with the company for 6 years to become a master stylist and was chosen for the Redken hair colorist certification program because of my extra special passion for color. I completed and passed my test, enabling me to be a Redken Certified Colorist. After leaving Ulta, I went into business with my best friend and together we created EmeraldSydney salon. We had a studio salon for almost two years and through that experience, I really grew into who I am today as a hairdresser. I learned even more that my passion and skills are with color and that is the direction I want to grow in. I get excited for color corrections, rainbow colors of any kind, blonde bombshells, balayage and fun styling to complete the looks. Now 9 years into my career, I have a new plan. I left EmeraldSydney to peruse becoming a traveling hairstylist. Why not do beautiful hair in beautiful places?! As I begin my journey to build clients amongst my traveling, I am now at MOD Hair Salon. Casey and I worked previously together for years and I am so excited to be a part of her salon.

*Due to so many of my appointments being long color appointments, I do not offer online booking. I am a stylist who pays extra attention to detail and takes the time necessary to achieve your desired end goal, however big. Therefore, all appointments require a consultation.
