A few little quickies!
Hi everyone! How is summer treating you all?
Just wanted to send out a quick update on the salon going's-on's!
First things first- please park in front of the salon only! We had an event at the salon recently which resulted in the neighbors next door towing people that attended. The lot, (on the corner of Pala Vista and S Santa Fe) even though it is only marked in two spots "no parking," should be avoided until we figure out what the deal is. If you need help backing out of your spot, just let your stylist know and we are more than happy to help!
In happier news, Devita has received a promotion! We are so proud of her! From the first week she came on board, she has continually impressed me and our clients. She has gotten a staggering amount of reviews in less than a year and has built up her clientele to where she is just about 80% booked.
In order to "level jump" at MOD, factors like retention, rebooking, requests, reviews and satisfaction all come into play. I'm so happy to say that Devita has knocked her goals out of the park! Her services will be increasing per hour due to her well deserved promotion, you can find a link to her new menu here. Her new pricing will go into effect on September 1! Congratulations Devita!
Speaking of being on a roll, Vanessa has also been wowing us with her impressive customer service skills and the development of her craft! In just three short months, she is on the same wavelength as the salon, staff and clients and is taking on her own clients now! If you are looking for color blocking, blonding and vivids, she is your girl!
Lastly as a reminder, we do keep our front door locked for safety. Please knock upon arrival and someone will be right over to let you in!
Ps- we also had a couple of great events recently at the salon and are looking forward to another! The Plant Swap was a success! I couldn't believe how creative everyone got and how many beautiful plants there were to share. Next spring let's have another!
The Hair Faire was a hairstylists social event that was renaissance faire themed and had over 60 people in attendance. We had 12 stylists from Southern California showcasing their latest styles and techniques for inspiration and ideas and to connect to other stylists in the area!
Lastly, we are very fortunate to have a very well-known stylist in the industry that is blowing up come to teach a class at MOD to a salon full of stylists in September. I drove to Oxnard a couple of years ago to see her teach her first class and it is such an honor to have her at MOD for her first San Diego class. We are thrilled!
Thank you so much for all of your support. We work very hard to make sure you love your hair and your experience with us and consider ourselves very lucky to have clients such as yourselves.
Hope you all have a safe summer and we will see you behind the chair soon!
Yours in style,
Casey
